Reduce the Wrinkles, Aging Lines, & Acne Scars

with PRP Collagen Induction

Microneedling/Collagen Induction Therapy

Microneedling is an advanced rejuvenation treatment that creates tiny punctures in the skin, stimulating collagen production and the natural healing process. Many signs of aging such as wrinkles, lines and acne scars can be improved with this technique. Microneedling is compatible with most skin types and requires little to no downtime.

What is Collagen Induction Therapy with PRP?

Microneedling with PRP—or platelet-rich plasma—enhances the benefits of this procedure by utilizing the patient’s own blood. This procedure is also known as collagen induction therapy. PRP is rich in growth factors and key nutrients that help the skin heal more rapidly. While being treated with the microneedling device, the PRP is applied to the skin and is absorbed by the tiny wounds.

Benefits of Microneedling and Collagen Induction Therapy with PRP

Microneedling is a nonsurgical treatment that can be used on most skin types to address a number of skin problems. This versatile treatment can be used on many different areas of the body such as the face, neck, chest or hands. It can even be combined with other medical spa treatments we offer to maximize results and requires minimal to no downtime.

What to Expect During Your Microneedling Treatment

Our highly trained practitioners will apply a topical anesthetic at the beginning of the procedure to ensure your comfort. As the microneedling device is rolled over the skin, tiny needles create small wound channels. These wound channels trick the body into starting its healing process by stimulating collagen production. Microneedling treatments can take between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the treatment area.

Little to no downtime is required, however specific post-treatment care is necessary and will be discussed during your appointment. After treatment, you may experience mild inflammation and redness, which will subside after a day or two. Some patients experience mild peeling or flaking. It is important to protect your skin from the sun after treatment. Your provider will give you specific instructions on what products you may and may not use post treatment.
